Woman in conversation

Individual Sessions

45 - 90 minute sessions

In our sessions, we’ll take time to understand your mental health history, current concerns, and daily life, and together we’ll shape a psychotherapy plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

The work may include expressive arts, journaling, gentle movement, or somatically-informed exercises to help you notice patterns, build insight, and increase awareness of your emotional and bodily experiences.

We may also discuss how wellness factors, like sleep, nutrition, or movement, relate to your well-being, always in collaboration with your healthcare providers.

The focus is on supporting emotional resilience, self-understanding, and ease in communication and relationships, all at your own pace in a safe, supportive space.

Mini-Intensives
for Individuals or Groups

3 hour Focused Support Within Ongoing Therapy

Mini-intensives offer targeted, short-term support to complement your ongoing therapy—they are not a replacement for regular psychotherapy. These sessions are designed to gently explore experiences that feel persistent or difficult to process, such as entrenched trauma, challenging patterns or behaviors, complex grief, or diffuse anxiety.

Before we begin, we’ll schedule a brief phone consultation to review your therapy history, current goals, and treatment needs. Whenever possible, this conversation can include your primary therapist to ensure our work supports your broader therapy process.

Each mini-intensive begins with careful attunement—noticing your experience and letting it guide the session. While these sessions are longer and more concentrated than typical therapy appointments, they are not a quick fix, and may involve a series of two or more sessions that build on each other.

Mini-intensives work best as an adjunct to ongoing therapy, providing space to focus on specific areas while maintaining continuity of care. Clients participating in mini-intensives must be under the care of a psychotherapist or counselor, either at HAVEN or elsewhere.
