Neuro-Integrative & Somatosensory Psychotherapy

Individual Sessions
45 - 90 minute sessions are available
In our first session, we will review your mental and physical health history, your lifestyle and environment, and your current concerns and goals. We will collaborate on a treatment plan and discuss your desired outcomes. The following sessions may shift and change as we work together to target your specific needs. Nervous system toning and restorative sleep are often on the menu, but the rest is up to us! Some sessions may include expressive arts, writing, movement, rewiring thoughts and behaviors, or learning to tune in to your body's needs and how that impacts your sense of ease and wellbeing, your communication style, and your physical health.
Mini-Intensives
3 - 6 hour sessions
These short intensives are intended to target specific "sticky" trauma in the body, difficult behaviors or habits, chronic pain, complicated or long-term grief, or simply feelings of unease or anxiety. We'll have a brief phone consultation leading up to the intensive to discuss your goals and possible treatment options. When we meet, we'll begin gently and slowly, building trust and safety together while attuning to your body and how it might guide us in your process. Mini-intensives are not a "one and done" deal. There may be three or more sessions that build on the work done in previous sessions. However, these are different from weekly therapy in their duration and focus.
Clients participating in mini-intensives must be under the care of a psychotherapist or counselor. This may be at Haven or elsewhere.

Group Sessions
Group sessions may be tailored to your group and may be held on location at your site or here at the office (depending on the size of the group). Groups may include a psychoeducational component as well as mindfulness-based stress reduction, movement, or expressive arts practices. This is a particularly useful option for educational, corporate, and non-profit organizations to mitigate burnout, promote connection, and inspire creativity. Other groups may include intuitive mindfulness and movement practices for chronic pain and illness, or restorative work for families recovering from trauma or loss.
