Emergency & Crisis Resource Guide

If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please use the resources below. These services are available to the public and are not affiliated with this practice. Some are confidential, non-police-affiliated warm lines and peer support services, especially for residents of Tennessee and Davidson County. These are noted as "warm lines" below. While I strive to share helpful information, I cannot guarantee its accuracy—please use your discretion when reaching out.

Mental Health Cooperative Crisis Line

Call 615-726-0125 for 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors in Nashville-Davidson County. They offer telephone support, mobile crisis response, and referrals to ongoing care.

Tennessee Statewide Crisis Line

Dial 855-CRISIS-1 (855-274-7471) to be connected with a trained crisis specialist in your area. This service is available 24/7 and offers telephone support, assessments, and referrals.

Family & Children’s Service Crisis Line

Warm Line: Call 615-244-7444 for free, 24/7 telephone counseling. They provide support for various issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Nashville.gov

Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

Call or text 988 for immediate support. This national service is available 24/7 for anyone in emotional distress or experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. 

Crisis Text Line

Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a trained crisis counselor. This service is free, confidential, and available 24/7.

Contact Care Line (East Tennessee)

Warm Line: that provides confidential support for individuals experiencing emotional distress or seeking someone to talk to.

​Warm Line: A peer support line prioritizing BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Muslim communities. Offers confidential support without involving law enforcement.

Warm Line: Provides text-based support for marginalized individuals, including LGBTQ2S+, people of color, and those with disabilities.

Warm Line: Offers peer support focusing on harm reduction and trauma-informed care, without involving emergency services.
