Life can be heavy, and sometimes it feels like no one truly sees the weight you carry—whether it’s living with chronic pain or illness, carrying grief, navigating trauma, or facing the emotional challenges of end-of-life transitions. I understand how isolating that can feel, and I want you to know: you are not alone.
I provide a gentle, mindful space where you can slow down, notice what’s happening in your thoughts, emotions, and body, and explore it without judgment or pressure. My approach is relational and somatically-informed, which means we attend to how experiences live in your mind and body together, always at your pace.
My own journey—living with long-term health challenges and profound personal loss—has shaped the way I listen and respond. I bring curiosity, care, and compassion, alongside a commitment to supporting each person exactly where they are, with what they need most.
Whether you are coping with grief, chronic illness, trauma, caregiving stress, or the emotional impact of life’s transitions, I offer a space to be seen, heard, and held. Together, we’ll explore ways to build steadiness, self-understanding, and presence, helping you feel more grounded and connected in your life, one step at a time.
I look forward to meeting you,
Jennifer

Interests & Activities
I came to this work after two decades as an arts educator and creative coach, drawn to the profound overlap between creative expression and the healing process. Long before I became a therapist, I witnessed how the arts could open space for emotion, reflection, and transformation—much like therapy does. That creative thread still runs through everything I do. Music, dance, visual art, and time in nature continue to be lifelong sources of joy and grounding for me. When the weather is cool, I love to slip away to a quiet lake to kayak. I’m also a bookbinder and mixed media artist, working with photography, sculpture, and found materials. Interior design is another creative outlet—I'm always searching for ways to make spaces feel more restful, cozy, and warm. Though I don’t always find the time, I’m a devoted reader with a soft spot for ghost stories, mythology, and folklore. I also have a somewhat relentless urge to organize and simplify—my version of a spiritual practice. Have you ever read The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning? That’s basically my life philosophy: letting go of what no longer serves and creating room for what truly matters.
