Individual Sessions

45 - 90 minute sessions

Our work begins with understanding you in context—what you’re experiencing, what you’ve lived through, what your body and nervous system may be carrying, and what matters to you. Sessions may move between conversation and embodied experience, drawing from somatic practices, movement, mindfulness, creativity, therapeutic listening, hypnotherapy, and other approaches according to your needs, capacity, and pace.

Chronic illness, pain, fatigue, medical experiences, and other health concerns belong in the room too. Together, we explore how physical, emotional, relational, and existential experiences intersect—not to decide what you should change or overcome, but to create more room for awareness, capacity, flexibility, meaning, agency, and choice within the life and body you actually have.

Mini-Intensives
for Individuals or Groups

3 hour Focused Support Within Ongoing Therapy

Mini-intensives offer focused, short-term support for an experience or concern that could benefit from more time and attention than a traditional therapy session allows. This might include trauma, grief, persistent patterns, anxiety, nervous system responses, or experiences that continue to show up in the body. Longer sessions allow us to slow down, follow what emerges, and draw from somatic, experiential, and other integrative approaches without the pressure of fitting the work into a standard therapy hour.

Mini-intensives are designed to complement ongoing psychotherapy rather than replace it. We’ll begin with a brief phone consultation to understand what brings you to this work and determine an appropriate focus and pace; when helpful, we can collaborate with your primary therapist. Intensives may involve one extended session or a short series, with space for integration between sessions. Clients must be working with a psychotherapist or counselor at HAVEN or elsewhere.
